Gargrave Parish Council now has two vacant councillor positions following the resignation of Councillor Alan Sutcliffe.

Cllr Alan Sutcliffe resigned as a councillor on 31st August 2026. Details of the process of filling the position vacated by Cllr Sutcliffe are available at Councillor Vacancy – Gargrave Parish Council
Candidates are being sought for the other position, vacated by Cllr Karen Hunter, which will be filled by co-option and has a closing date of September 18th.
